im like a rubber band , if you pull to hard, I fall apart That's the thing about the train. Cam remembered what it was once upon a time. He was old enough to have seen the gradual shift in the wizarding world. When suddenly what was happy and warm was cold and guarded. He walked onto the platform and looked at the darkened train and shook his head. Placing an unaffected smile on his face, he hopped onto the train, smiling and nodding cheekily to the death eaters as he passed. Camden knew he was probably asking for yet another punishment but he didn't care. If he could get his two bits in even for a short amount of time, then that would be enough. And he got the point that it hurt so much, but it couldn't hurt more. He knew that thought was naiive, but his trouble making streak started when he saw a young child about to get punished and leaped in doing something bigger and worse. And the kid walked free.
Since then he's been putting his sassy comments and quick wit to work. He liked doing so, felt important in his own way. He walked into an open compartment and set down his things. this whole trip, starting his final year at hogwarts- it seemed wrong in its own way. But nevertheless, he couldn't just skip out. He was lucky enough to still be able to go to school. Where he knew too many others that were forced to leave purely on their blood status. Camden settled into a seat and shifted a bit, looking out onto the platform. The thing was, he was different this year. And there was a whole different danger for him this time. | words: xxx notes: <3 |

♛ Once more time came to return to the hell hole formerly known as a home away from home. Hogwarts was nowhere near what it used to be since their new regime took over – now the castle was a place of nightmares, all its warmth replaced by a looming feeling of dread over who would be tortured next. It was therefore something of an oddity to see a grinning, dark haired girl in a red sarcastic t-shirt walking along the darkened train with mocking cheerfulness, pushing her trunk ahead of her. Crowning jewel sitting atop of said trunk was her baby blue pygmy puff, Uric the Oddball, doing his favorite thing in the whole world. Absolutely nothing. Aside from eating, shitting, breathing, making adorable squeaky noises and occasionally moving a few inches, Joce couldn't recall ever seeing it partake in another activity. But she swore she would one day teach it a trick if it was the last thing she did. Poking the small ball of challenging fluff she could already tell today was not that day. "You haven't won yet, Oddball. You still look like you have a few good years of life left in you," She muttered teasingly. Pulling her wand she levitated her possessions aboard in lead, using them for parting the sea of glaring students so she could walk comfortably through. Joce didn't much care about getting in trouble for this minor offense – she had a trunk, trunk had to board with her, simple logic dictated these weren't grounds for detention. Anyone who disagreed could read her bloody shirt. Besides, short of death there wasn't much worse they could do to her after the end of last year. She was beautifully cursed. Only sheer stubborness genuinely made her return this year, well that and her friends's safety. Withdrawing on her final year would just make them win; she wasn't having that. Peering inside every compartment as she went in seach of her bffwylion she offered customary 'Ello's like she wasn't rudely poking her nose everywhere, until she found the right one and maneuvered her things inside, dopping them on top of Cam's. Plopping down in three seats opposite him at once, stretching her legs over two of them in a clear statement that nobody else was now welcome to sit with her, Joce smirked at the other half of their despicable duo, patting her thigh in an invitation for him to sit in her lap. "C'mon, Camcorder, let me see if you put on at least five pounds over the summer. You're way too skinny for a bloke. We need to work on your muscles so that you can be as irresistible as I am." No 'Ello this time, no customary how was your summer. She knew it was probably pretty crappy with a few shades of nice in a world they now had to endure, so like usually she immediately veered toward humor in order to lighten the atmosphere.

im like a rubber band , if you pull to hard, I fall apart The door opened and he looked over, a few people had burst in a few times asking if they could sit and he would have invited them, but he doubted that once his dearest Jojobean got here, they wouldn't want to sit ehre any longer. So really, the gryffindor was doing them a favour. But when he saw the familiar burst of brown hair he couldn't help but let out this loud groan. "Not you again. Thought I got rid of you last year." He teased her then watched as she plopped down opposite him.
But honestly, she asked for it, and with a flourish he had laid across her lap, putting as much weight on her as possible. "better than being morbidly obese, I'd say." He hugged her closely. "I see you haven't fixed the hair problem yet." And with that rubbed his hand on her curls with a wicked grin before leaping back to his seat. "Seriously though, how will you ever get a man. Tidy up, princess." Calling him the only name in his repertoire that may get him ridiculously slapped. Still, as he gave his best friend the once over, it was good to have her this year. He didn't know if he'd honestly survive without her again. They were the dangerous duo. Doing stupid shit and getting introuble. But someone had to do it, right? | words: xxx notes: <3 |
