This event will be taking place at Grimmauld Place, its location only known to the new members of the order of the phoenix. This is the first meeting for the order in two and a half years since they attempted to rise again to take Hogwarts back from the death eaters. The Order members are having this meeting to establish new leaders, after there has been no proper leadership since the death of Albus Dumbledore back in 1997. The meeting takes place a week after the students have returned to Hogwarts. This event is mainly focused on our adults on the site since the students will be in school. Also, only adults will be appointed as leaders of the Order. The members will also be discussing their plans to take back the wizarding world from the death eaters. The board is up for the event though posts will not be able to be made until December 21st. The event will last for three weeks, enabling everyone to post in it.
#1 WHO CAN ATTEND this event is mainly focused on our adults meaning there will not be a giant group of students attending this meeting. however, we will allow a very few amount of students to have snuck out of the school. those students may attend the meeting though they will not be in consideration for leadership of the orders. not everyone attending will be completely loyal to the order, if you wish to throw in a spy for the death eaters into this event. trust me, we love the drama and this order is full of new people. squibs and former muggleborn hogwarts students (who are not able to attend hogwarts due to the death eaters' rule) will most likely make an appearance during the meeting to offer their thoughts on plans to overtake the death eaters.
#2 HOW WILL LEADERS BE DECIDED there will be three leaders of the order selected. this is so the responsibility is not put on one mind to decide everything for the group. the order has seen it work well for the death eaters (having different people with different skill sets in charge of certain things). three is an odd number, resulting in there being no tie of a decision between two leaders. the staff will be monitoring the event to see who are the most active participants that wish to be leaders and come up with four names. warning now, just because you want to be a leader, do not make posts that lack in quality. we will take that into consideration too. when the staff have come up with four names, they will post an out of character post in the event page. members will learn of the four names and then will have to cast their vote for three leaders in the event thread, in character. this ultimately allows the members to decide on the leaders of the order and their characters. think how your character would vote because the votes are cast in character. if your character holds a grudge against someone then they may not vote for him or her!
